POSITION OVERVIEW

First United Methodist Church-Sikeston is a growing church that exists to lead people in new life with Jesus. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Church Administrator as a part of our executive leadership.

An ideal candidate for this position is someone Christ-centered, outward focused, strong communication skills (written and verbal), organized, detailed oriented, adaptive to change, strong leadership skills and committed to mission of First UMC.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for managing building and office staff, overseeing church operations, finances, communications, and human resources.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active church leadership and evidence of a mature Christian life.

  • B.S./B.A. in business or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in two (or more) of the main areas of responsibility: Finances, Facilities, Communications and HR.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications.

  • Ability to build and lead teams, resolve conflict and keep information confidential.

 

COMPENSATION

Full-Time Salaried Position, salary is commensurate to experience.
